. What does success look like?
A THINKsummit™ has succeeded when the individuals who participate feel they have a fresh perspective on the challenge (ie: the summit topic) and one or more fresh / actionable insights and & ideas for how to move the needle.
… of course, the personal experiences and relationships that come from a summit are also valuable, but the overriding goal is to surface fresh thinking that leads to positive change.
. What benefits can participants expect?
Because THINKevents provide a safe environment, and because participants attend as individuals rather than representatives of their organization, the people who participate in a THINKsummit™ are free to explore fresh ideas & perspectives without any expectation that they ‘know’ the answer, opening the door for unusually expansive discussion. . How is this different than typical industry events?
Typical industry gatherings are produced by the dominant consulting firms or industry leaders and attended by organizations with an agenda to promote &/or protect their interests. THINKsummits are not that. What THINKsummit™ attendees have in common is that they are all change-makers a strong desire to find a fresh solution to a shared challenge, but the range of experience and perspectives in the room is vast. People attend as individuals, not as a representative of a specific organization, and that expands the aperture for sharing insights and ideas. People participate in a THINKsummit™ because they have both deep expertise and a personal desire to find fresh solutions (for the specific topic).
. Who is Rampworth and what is their role?
Rampworth is a value strategy firm focused on helping leadership teams' surface emerging risks & opportunities and align on what to do about it (and why). After being ‘in the room’ for hundreds of strategic discussions revolving around emerging forces & opportunities, we came to the realization that many non-competing organizations have complementary perspectives on how to solve the same challenge. THINKsummits came from our desire to create a safe and collaborative way to bridge fresh thinking across industry silos and were shaped by feedback from participants along the way.
. What comes after a THINKSUMMIT™?
Each THINKsummit is followed by a collection of sharable artefacts that capture the experience and the key insights and ideas that emerged. Participants are granted a royalty-free license to share the briefs and any other shared materials that are used during the event.
